65 Abnonku Contestants Equipped with E-Book

A total of 65 Abang None Buku (Abnonku) 2015 candidates in Seribu Islands equipped with e-book from local Library and Archive Office.

Head of Seribu Island Library and Regency Archive Office, Saptastri Ediningtyas said, the activity included in selection process for 2015 Abnonku.

"We teach them about library, writing, and English discussion," said Tyas, Friday (8/21).

"They are expected to increase interest in reading up to international level," she added.

 

Later, only 5 partners will join Grand Final in Balai Warga Buildings, Pramuka Island on upcoming Tuesday (8/25).

 

The contestants will compete for the trophy and a scholarship of Rp 4 million for the first prize, Rp 3.5 million for second prize, and Rp 3 million for the third place. While the first runner up will get Rp 2.5 million and the second runner up will receive Rp 2 million.

 

Later, she continued, the winner will become Jakarta Book Ambassador that served to promote libraries and archives in any activity such as "library on the street" in car free day, book review, and provide library clinic.
